2026 TAMF Symposium

ONE BODY: Advancing the Understanding and Treatment of Neuroimmune Psychiatric Disorders such as PANDAS & PANS

On November 14, 2026, TAMF will be hosting our fourth symposium in Portsmouth, NH.

As in the past, it will be informed by the latest research and decades of clinical practice that our speakers for across the country and around the world are excited to share.

The theme this year is ONE BODY. Why ONE BODY? Because the human body is a highly integrated set of systems. The deleterious effects of Immune-Mediated Neuropsychiatric Disorders such as PANDAS & PANS often extend beyond psychiatry and neurology to seriously affect other systems of the body.

Learn about how common infections can sometimes trigger the immune system to attack healthy brain tissue, resulting in life-altering brain inflammation and serious deterioration in all areas of life, including psychological, cognitive, motor, sensory, and social functioning as well as other medical conditions. These debilitating brain disorders can impact all ages. With prompt and adequate treatment, patients can return to their baseline.

Attendance is limited to physicians, psychologists, nurses, mental health professionals, researchers, policymakers, and other individuals involved in treatment, education, research, or funding related to such disorders

Our Mission

The Alex Manfull Fund supports awareness, education, and research to further understand the incidence, etiology, and best treatment of post-infectious neuroimmune disorders (aka PANDAS, PANS, and Autoimmune Encephalitis) with an emphasis on their manifestation in Adolescents and Young Adults. Our ultimate goal is that no life ever again be cut short – or interrupted – by any neuroimmune disorder.

One of Alex’s favorite inspirational quotes:

“I hope everyone that is reading this is having a really good day. And if you are not, just know that in every new minute that passes you have an opportunity to change that.”

— Gilliam Anderson
