Did you know that May is National Military Appreciation Month? During this month, there are several specific days on which U.S. military personnel, veterans, and their families are honored.

Saturday, May 16th is Armed Forces Day and, on that day, The Alex Manfull Fund (TAMF) is proud to host a private screening of the critically acclaimed film, “SHEEPDOG,” at Carey Cottage in Portsmouth, NH.

We are thrilled to let you know that a discussion will follow with Steven Grayhm, writer, director, producer, and star of SHEEPDOG, and Kayla Caulfield, SHEEPDOG cast member and TAMF Board Member

Also joining the discussion is Sheilah Gauch, LICSW, M.Ed., Principal and Clinical Director of Dearborn Academy, a therapeutic day school, and a frequent speaker on stress and trauma. She is also a TAMF Board member.

“Shot on location in Western Massachusetts, SHEEPDOG is the first film that truly explores the physical and psychological repercussions of trauma, with a focus on Post Traumatic Growth (PTG). It is an uplifting original story, inspired by countless first-hand testimonials about recovery, redemption, and the journey of healing; themes that now mirror our post-pandemic zeitgeist.”

Rotten Tomatoes Popcornmeter Score is 98%! The film is rated ‘R’ (meaning under 17 years old requires parent or adult guardian). The subject matter may not appropriate for those who have experienced trauma.
